BELT RANK REQUIREMENTS

Students are promoted or tested once they have demonstrated proficiency in the required material and have met the recommended training time for their rank. Advancement is also based on the instructor’s assessment of the student’s effort, attitude, character, and overall readiness for the next level.

Training times are estimates, not guarantees. Each student progresses at their own pace and may be eligible for promotion earlier or may require additional training time before advancing.
